How to enter the Unlocking Code for a BlackBerry Model
General Information about the BlackBerry unlocking codes
When you receive your code it will be in one of two formats (depending on your model)
1: A single string of 4 or 5 long numbers or
2: Again a string of numbers, but with some identifying letters between them (EG MEP/NCK etc)
If you receive format 1, then these are simply 4 or 5 codes that need to be tried. (So when you are asked to enter the unlocking code, you need to try each one,
starting with the 1st).
If you receive format 2, then please refer to the table below for your code.
Here's an example of how your code will break down:
| Type | Example | MEP |
|---|---|---|
| IMEI: | 351238034369xxx | n/a |
| SIM Code: | 6123343501466xxx | MEP1 |
| NCK Code: | 7123039679046xxx | MEP2 |
| Subset Code: | 123211566752xxx | MEP3 |
| Prov Code: | 8261232688272xxx | MEP4 |
| Corp Code: | 3851231232390xxx | MEP5 |
Note: BlackBerry in 90% of countries will only require the MEP2 code
We suggest you copy codes to a notepad and enter them very carefully.
Please make sure the wireless mode is turned off before attempting to unlock your Blackberry phone

If not then follow this guide:
Put a different network sim card
Turn on the phone completely

Now go to Settings Then Advance Setting Now Go to Sim Card
Now Enter MEEP2
Simply Enter MEEP on keypad and for entering 2 follow these steps
The 9105 doesn’t have an ALT key, however you can put it into ALT mode. To activate ALT mode you must do the following: Press the right side Volume keys in the following sequence: up, down, up, down, up. The Alt icon should display in the top left corner of the screen. Note: If you press the Shift key it disables the ALT mode so it’s impossible to enter ALT-SHIFT-H.

Each unsuccessful unlock attempt (EG entering the code incorrectly) will delay the next attempt by 10 seconds, and so on.
You are limited to 255 attempts before the phone is permanently blocked.
NOTE: On some phones you are limited to only 10 attempts
To unblock a phone, it must be taken to a RIM Blackberry Service centre. In the meantime there will be no outgoing calls including emergency calls.
FAQ:
Question: My phone asks to enter a PIN number
Answer: For SIM cards with PIN ENABLED you will be required to enter a PIN. This is not the unlocking code that has just been provided. For information concerning
the PIN, PIN2, PUK and PUK2 codes for a SIM card please read the manual that came with your phone. This is NOT a handset unlocking difficulty.
Question: My handset displays a different message to what is shown when I insert a Non Vodafone Australia SIM card.
Answer: The most common message the phone will display is 'Invalid SIM card'. Because each handset may have a different variation in software there is no common
message. If your handset displays a different message it is recommended to move onto the next step. Note: Faulty SIM Cards - The handset may also display messages
indicating the SIM you are using to unlock the handset is faulty, it could display 'Insert SIM' 'Bad Card', 'Card Error' or 'Card Rejected', confirm the SIM card is
correctly inserted, the gold area downwards and the cut of the corner matches correctly. You will need a working Non Vodafone SIM card to unlock the handset.
